Div., these seem to be made out of resin and not enamel, one closure device is not functioning, on the left upper shoulder with the tab “ 83-thumnderbolt” below that the matching SSI, following by a private first class rank chevron, 2 overseas stripes (for each six month of overseas duty) and 1 service stripe (for 3 years of active duty), on the right upper shoulder with tab of the 89. Inf. Div. and the matching SSI and a rank chevron, above the left breast pocket with 2 ribbon bars with following awards: Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, World War 2 Victory Medal, ETO Medal, American Campaign Medal, (one pin back is missing). Inside breast pocket with quatermaster tag, dated 5/10/44, the back of the tunic is named with 2 serial numbers, the name listed does not match a soldier who served with either the 83rd or the 89th Inf. Div. so it must have been a reissued tunic. Both SSIs and tabs are machine stitched on the tunic. Armlenght 61 cm, chest circumference 84 cm, lenght 61 cm, some minor moth holes, condition 2-.
Comes with a matching oversras hat, with golden yellow piping for the cavalery, size approx. 55, inside a blue rayon material, unworn still with the original paper tag, condition 2+.
